Sweet God in Heaven YES!
Yeah so I caught the bootleg of this at about 4 am this morning when I couldn't sleep. I will be back later today with my reactions cause it's now around noon and I'm still overwhelmed.
Well you COULD wait until I come home. But if you absolutely can't... Here's how it goes: gather up as many people as possible to watch them on the biggest screen possible (I've known lots of colleges to do big public showings of popular films, see if you can encourage the Oxy film society or whatever to do an Indy marathon or failing that at least a screening of Raiders of the Lost Ark). If this isn't possible I would URGE you to not watch it on your laptop monitor unless you have a computer savvy friend with a projector. The order is Raiders of the Lost Ark, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom and then Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. Don't bother with the young Indiana Jones TV series (well unless you REALLY like the movies). When you watch them make sure you're in a movie watching mood and make sure you don't have ANY major distractions that will pull you away from the film. Hope this helps.
Here are 10 random things that make me blissfully happy: Musical numbers, This American Life, fresh tacos, sweat pants with writing on the butt, having the last word, when you're enjoying your job and lose track of time, when a movie audience is clapping and laughing together (both ironically and unironically), alphabetizing, references that maybe 5 people get and I'm one of them, coming over the Brooklyn bridge and seeing Manhattan. Driving down the 101 South and seeing a pink sunset.
